My Art:
I specialize in decorative pottery, and use an array of
alternate firing processes. Raku, an ancient Japanese
method, is my first love, in which I am able to create one
of a kind unique pieces. My pottery can be seen and
purchased at the
Batavia Art Gallery.
I have studied at
McHenry County College, McHenry IL; Peninsula Art
School, Door County WI; Waubonsee Community College, Sugar Grove IL and am
currently studying at the
Fine Line Creative
Arts Center in St. Charles, IL, where my pottery has
also been on display. I am a member of the Clayworkers'
Guild of Illinois and the Batavia Artist Guild.
