All my work is wheel-thrown or handmade.
I endeavor to make on-of-a-kind pieces. My goals are not to
reproduce the same pieces over and over but rather to simply feel free
to make each piece speak for itself. I hope to inspire the person
who buys pottery to feel a sense of wonder at art and crave a desire to
use pottery in their daily lives. I primarily use porcelain clay
body but I do at times use a stoneware clay body.
In January of 2007
I was re-elected Secretary of The
Clayworkers' Guild of Illinois.
