As a non-for-profit organization, the Clayworkers' Guild of Illinois is a volunteer organization.  The Board - Executive Committee are unpaid and volunteer their time to keep this organization running.  Any member may run for any position. Officers are voted on at the January meeting each year. There is no prerequisite other than a serious commitment to the position.  Each Office requires a two-year commitment except the Secretary position which is one year.  Members can see the details of the offices in the Constitution - posted in the Members' Only Area.  We encourage all members to serve on the Executive Committee so they can better understand the workings of the Guild and so they can shape the future direction.  New points-of-view are always appreciated and keep organizations like this fresh and alive.  Members, please consider running for an office.

Secretary - is elected each year.

President  - Librarian - Web Master are elected in ODD numbered years.

Vice-President - Treasurer - Membership Chairperson - are elected in EVEN numbered years.
