Get Your Hands Dirty! A 4-Week Wheel Throwing Class

Ready to give the pottery wheel a spin? Join us for a fun, hands-on introduction to wheel throwing! Over four 3-hour sessions, you’ll learn the basics of working with clay, from wedging and centering to shaping your own unique pottery pieces.

​

Each week builds on the last, giving you time to practice new skills, build confidence, and explore different forms like bowls, tumblers, and mugs. You’ll also learn trimming techniques, get an introduction to attaching handles, and finish your creations with glaze.

​

No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy! By the end of the class, you’ll have a better understanding of the pottery process and handmade pieces to call your own.

What to Expect:

• Four weekly, 3-hour sessions

• Hands-on instruction and plenty of practice

• Learn centering, throwing, trimming, shaping, and glazing

• Explore different pottery forms and techniques

• Glaze your finished pieces during the final session​

Your pieces will be fired after the final class, and you’ll receive an email when they’re ready for pickup.
