Beginner Wheel Throwing - Tuesday

Ready to give the pottery wheel a spin? Join us for this fun, hands-on 4-week class where you’ll learn the basics of wheel throwing, from centering and shaping clay to trimming and glazing your own pieces. No experience necessary—just come ready to get a little messy and creative! Class Fee: $260 for all four sessions. A non-refundable $65 deposit is required to reserve your spot, and full payment is due at least two weeks before the first class. Because learning to throw on the wheel takes practice, registration is for the full four-week series; individual classes are not available. What's Included: Instruction, 15 lbs of cone 6 clay, tools and a tool holder, a choice of glazes, and two firings for your work. Wheels, stools, buckets, aprons, brushes, and a labeled shelf for your tools and projects are also provided. Additional clay is available for $25 per 25 lb bag. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup after firing. Come learn something new and discover the joy of making pottery!
